Re-Animator (1985, Stuart Gordon)

The 80's held loads of gross out horror movies with plenty of slapstick comedy yet few of them are really remembered or praised now days; however here’s one that towers above the rest.  This is a terrific homage to 1950's B horror/sci-fi that never takes it’s self too seriously and is 95 minutes of pure fun with an excellent lead played by Jeffrey Combs as the brilliantly insane medical student.
