My 100 Greatest Horror Films

All Hallows' Eve is upon us once again and depending on your age, you're either looking forward to some good ol' trick or treating, dressing up and getting absolutely wasted at a Halloween party, or staying in with some hot cocoa and watch a creepy ass horror film. Well as I am in my 30s I will happily be doing the latter (fingers crossed for a thunderstorm).

As I am excited about what horror film to watch this evening, I thought I'd compile my list of what I think are the best horror films. Whether you like the zombie genre, satanic horror, psychological horror, classic horror or the good old-fashioned slasher film, there's something for you here. (However, if you're looking for torture porn horror movies such as Hostel, any of the Saw sequels, The Human Centipede, Cannibal Holocaust etc, this is not a list for you).

Anyways, Happy Halloween and hope you enjoy my list (in alphabetical order).

    1. Great list Joe. Your top 5 is actually quite surprising. Nightmare never did it for me personally when I saw it back in the 80's early 90's. Now the Fly (1986) that's another story, I couldn't finish it; dont think I ever did LOL.

I know you said the list won't include any torture porn horror movies but DAM DAM DAM did hostel scare the shit out of me, in an unnerving psychological way!
