Shine a Light (2008, Martin Scorsese)

Martin Scorsese is no stranger to Music documentaries. Back in 1970 he was the assistant director and film editor to the legendary documentary masterpiece Woodstock. In 1979 he directed the great The Last Waltz and in 2005 he gave us the astounding No Direction Home: Bob Dylan. Now he shows us the Stones, 45 years after their first album and still kicking ass.
On their tour of 'The Bigger Bang', Scorsese takes us on stage with the Stones and footage to boot on what happened to the Stones in the past along with interviews. This may not exactly be groundbreaking or knowledgeable as we're learning nothing new here, however if you are a stones fan (like myself), you will defiantly enjoy this ride.
